Description

The Electrically Instructed Person (EIP) training is intended for employees without electrical qualifications and covers the fundamentals in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100, including hazards caused by electric current and the necessary protective measures. It outlines the defined tasks on or near electrical installations and equipment that participants may carry out under the direction and supervision of a qualified electrician. The course ends with an assessment. A practical instruction in the company is required and work on live parts is not permitted.

Work as an EIP is only permitted for clearly defined tasks and only under the direction and supervision of a qualified electrician.
