Business and technical goals in focus!The three-day IMPROVE training provides methods, tools, and skills for the continuous optimization of software systems. Participants learn how to systematically improve systems based on business and technical goals, analyze existing architectures, take business aspects into account, and align solutions with organizational objectives.

What can you expect?In the module “IMPROVE – Evolution and Improvement of Software Architectures,” you will experience a practice-oriented training on the analysis, planning, and implementation of improvement measures. You will learn how to reduce technical debt, develop long-term strategies, and sustainably optimize systems. The goal is to make architecture and processes more efficient and future-proof.

Participant prerequisites

• You should have practical experience in designing and developing small to medium-sized software systems.

• Initial experience in maintaining and evolving existing systems, especially in code analysis and refactoring, is required.

• Basic knowledge of software metrics such as coupling, complexity, and cohesion is helpful.

• You should be familiar with fundamental techniques such as runtime analysis, profiling, and log analysis.

• Experience in working with stakeholders and analyzing requirements and development processes is an advantage.

Credit points for CPSA-A certificationWith the IMPROVE training, participants earn 10 technical and 20 methodological credit points according to the iSAQB Advanced Level program.
